Tanya Findlay M.A., E-RYT®, RPYT®
Tanya Findlay is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) with over 600 hours of training. Her studies in Vinyasa Yoga inspire her own practice and teaching of Power Yoga, as well as Pre/Postnatal, Restorative and Yin Yoga styles. Her classes are often informed by seasonal practices, mindfulness and meditation. She offers a welcoming flow infused with clear alignment, breath awareness and mental focus. Tanya believes in yoga’s ability to benefit everyone and in the profound balance that it brings her and her students. She aims to challenge, nurture and inspire her students and believes that yoga should always be accessible to everyone.
Originally from the East Coast and receiving her formal education with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Tanya has spent almost the past decade and a half living in Chicago. After managing a Yoga Studio for several years, she transitioned to full time Yoga Instructor. More recently she has added a new role to her resume – that of Mother, as she continues to evolve toward a different pace of life. Teaching Baby & Me yoga, blogging, and exploring all the great things the city of Chicago have to offer alongside her husband are just a few of the pleasures that fill her time.
